EVEN IN DEATH – FREE VERSE POEM

Nocturnal Angel
Goddess of Eternal sleep
come to me,
kiss me, and
let flow from
plump lips your warm breath –
on a shimmering petal –
that touch of death.
I am but a humble servant
waiting on bent knee,
praying, pleading for
entrance into your
Shadow Garden.

      1. The best kind. All my favs of my own writing came from the spirit that way. I think the trick is how to tap into that consistently, and Ray Bradbury said it best, get out of your own way and let it happen.
