tonight’s moon–
how many mountains resemble
the ones back home?

going outside
plum blossoms dive in…
my lucky tea

my lucky tea

from ancient mountains
silky confetti
in my teacup

from ancient mountains
sake traditions
passed through the generations

silky confetti –
soft cherry blossoms
between my fingers

in my teacup
castoffs from twisted branches –
sakura droplets

  1. Wonderful fusion and then troiku Dorna! Wow – it’s really a lovely new image you’ve painted and it’s just a lovely scene/story that follows with the troiku! and droplets definitely is a better choice – adds just the right touch of softness so essential for petals!
