PUEBLO MICHIGAN PART II B

snowflakes
salt pours through
the saltshaker

May blizzard —
stored salt jars
are astir

whiteout
pouring the sugar
into a bowl

the pulsating rush
of poured salt
snowy river

starry night —
white and yellow crayons
are easy to break

avalanche
plops goes the saltshaker
off the table

saltshaker
accumulating at the bottom
full moon

snowflakes…
all the saltshakers
are empty

PUEBLO MICHIGAN IV

rays of sunshine —
blackbirds steal fries
from the dumpster

sunshine
blackbirds huddle
around trashed fries

summer sunset…
fresh fries and mustard
on a plate

mustard
dripping from a bottle
setting sun

honey…
loose rays
of liquid sunshine

honey jar
at its bottom
summer sunset

sunlight…
streaks of mustard
on a decorative plate
