PUEBLO MICHIGAN PART II B

snowflakes
salt pours through
the saltshaker

May blizzard —
stored salt jars
are astir

whiteout
pouring the sugar
into a bowl

the pulsating rush
of poured salt
snowy river

starry night —
white and yellow crayons
are easy to break

avalanche
plops goes the saltshaker
off the table

saltshaker
accumulating at the bottom
full moon

snowflakes…
all the saltshakers
are empty

PUEBLO MICHIGAN IV

rays of sunshine —
blackbirds steal fries
from the dumpster

sunshine
blackbirds huddle
around trashed fries

summer sunset…
fresh fries and mustard
on a plate

mustard
dripping from a bottle
setting sun

honey…
loose rays
of liquid sunshine

honey jar
at its bottom
summer sunset

sunlight…
streaks of mustard
on a decorative plate

* Sunshine found not only in Nature, but so too created by Man, can be sighted the hours before predawn and hours after midnight.
*Red-winged Blackbirds found commonly in Michigan.

PUEBLO MICHIGAN part ii A

snow shower —
a plate of fries
drenched in salt

snow shower —
i am drowned in it
spilt salt

snowflakes —
at finger tips
salted fries

noticing
the weight of snowflakes
poured salt

such an accumulation
of sunshine…
squeezed mustard

golden sunset
drips down…
squeezed mustard

sun on the horizon…
a dollop of mustard
rises

evening sun
sitting for a while…
a dollop of mustard

dwindling sunshine
the mustard drips slowly
from the bottle

dappled sunlight
a long burst of mustard
from the bottle

PUEBLO MICHIGAN

Dear reader(s), I would like to introduce to you a new series in regards to my workplace observations. And let me tell you that there are many observations to be had in just one daily shift. Keep in mind reader(s), that I can work anywhere from eight to twelve hours in just one day. To many, a twelve hour work-shift is nothing. To a 41 year old who has just returned to the workforce after nearly a twenty-year medical hiatus, these hours are brutal, especially to my feet and sometimes, swollen ankles.

Pueblo, Michigan is half of a full truth. I am not going to inform you, reader(s) of my exact working location, but I am willing to say it is in the state of Michigan, obviously as the title implies. And like any workplace of this world, this place has its daily dramas, tantrums and other lively forms of visual entertainments that could be enjoyed by some and or make disgusted by the others.

To avoid legal issues, not that there should be any legal issues, this eye-witnessing observer is changing names and or deleting them completely. I too shall use metaphors when possible to explain my observation(s). Now keep in mind, that some events shall be modified to avoid any exaggerated experience (though not much by the stretch of the human understanding) or perhaps just the opposite to show some levity and or brevity of an experience endured.

If you are still interested in my daily activities, I ask you to follow along of this new series. Note also that not all these experiences or activities had shall be posted the day of. My work-hours are long, my energy wanes. Still, I am hoping to share this part of my life with you.

Sincerely,
Madasahatter
