seeds inside this body
withering - mum’s belly is now in full flower
- mum’s belly
where amongst the clouds
does the baby find lodging? - exposed breasts buds swell while i gaze from afar
- silver dewdrops
when might they dry?
this river of my tears - bellies swell
and become phases
of the moon - hungry baby
sucking the moonlight…
breastfeeding - wandering from my breast
not in a trickle, but
in a milky torrent
breast-milk - expectant belly
oh, that the moon tonight

*of course no Haiku can be complete without a few fart jokes 😉
- spring breeze
through the night
gentle breathing - full moon
the distance
of a baby’s fist - scattered clouds
on the floor
soiled nappies - scarlet light
restless mother scratches
her breast - summer avalanche
from the changing table
nappies fall - a farting contest
between twins…
heated wind - heated wind–
no incense
just farts - breath of wind —
mother and child’s
fart contest - hints of wind
blown away
by baby’s farts - lashing winds —
from the crib
baby’s farts - autumn wind
the whine
of baby’s farts

giggling baby grabs
mum’s circling finger - pink tornado–
twirling finger
makes a perfect circle - plunging my hands
into mum’s palms…
pink waterfall - pink moon–
baby’s suckling lips
cling to mum’s breast - snowballs
scattering mum’s pearls
onto the floor - fussy baby
still in the crib–
hazy moon - dried milk
in dark and thick strokes…
moonlight - straight gaze
of thick moonlight…
drying milk - spilt milk
every dribble looks
like a pillow - avalanche
spilt milk dribbles
deeper into the dark - baby formula
is blown away…
rising fog

summons his mummy

HELL IS MOVING
My apologizes, my beloved followers, but this Madasahatter needs to take some time away from daily postings. I might or might not be moving and we all know that Moving has its own levels of hell and frustration that one must contend with. So until I am settled down once more, I shall say, Thank You for the daily follow and comments and encouragement. You might find me via Facebook under my name Dorna Hainds.
I am going to try and continue Haiku for as long as possible.
One can only pack and move and re-rearrange so much, right?
Until my return, I bid you farewell. And always, try and find some Happy in your days.
Sincerely,
Madasahatter572
