PUEBLO MICHIGAN IV

rays of sunshine —
blackbirds steal fries
from the dumpster

sunshine
blackbirds huddle
around trashed fries

summer sunset…
fresh fries and mustard
on a plate

mustard
dripping from a bottle
setting sun

honey…
loose rays
of liquid sunshine

honey jar
at its bottom
summer sunset

sunlight…
streaks of mustard
on a decorative plate
